Overview

Leverage your 90-day benchmarks to estimate subscription revenue. By default, the dashboard will use your 90-day averages to complete the forecast estimate.

  • Note: Cancels are implied as part of billing rate
  • Does not consider Chargebacks or Refunds

Projected Billing

 - Inject your own rebill and recycle assumptions

NOTE: Ignore this section if you do not wish to inject your own numbers that are different than your 90-day averages.

This dashboard addition aids in strategic planning by allowing you to inject forecasted measures for rebill rate, cycle 2 rate and cycle 3+ rate to precisely forecast revenue (based on input over-rides that you make). The Retry 1, 2 and 3 options are the percentage success at billing cards upon reattempt.

This dashboard also provides your specific 90-day averages for each of these measures previously mentioned. Use these to help fine tune your forecast. All forecasting inputs are defaulted to 100% on initial load. Adjust them to your desired ratios to get an accurate forecast.

Step #1 - Consider your benchmarks before adding forecasting assumptions.

Step #2 - Add your forecasting assumptions.

Step #3 (optional) - Leverage dimensional pivoting to dynamically change the dimension as you see fit (e.g., change from AFID to Campaign or Gateway) by simply clicking the desired dimension within the filter.

Step #4 - Hit RUN.

Potential Actions

Use the Subscription Forecasting dashboard to:

  1. Estimate the amount of revenue that your subscription business will generate in the future, based on the previous 90 days billing attempts. Specifically, all active subscriptions will be considered for the forecast and the average billing rates over the previous 90 days will be applied and used to forecast subscription revenue out into the future until the natural attrition takes the numbers down to zero. Note: The Subscription Forecast does not consider new initial orders in the forecast numbers.
