Configuring Ontraport API

To Start using Ontraport as an Auto Responder, you will need to complete a few easy steps first. These steps are described here for your reference:    

Select Ontraport from your Lime Light CRM Account: Go to Email Notifications > Auto Responder Providers, then in the actions drop down menu, select Add Auto Responder Provider. Select Ontraport as your email provider then choose “select”.

A new window will open up asking you for the App ID and API Key. Please see the instructions below on how to generate your App ID and API Key:

First you will need to log in to your Ontraport Terminal and go to your Account Name> Admin.

Then you will go to "Integrations" and click "Ontraport API Instructions Key Manager".

From there you will need to click "New API Key" and fill out the API application.

Select your permissions for your Ontraport profile and "save". The App ID and API Key will then be shown in the "list view".

You will then copy and paste your App ID and API Key into the Ontraport Parameters within your profile.

App ID: This will be generated by you through your Ontraport Terminal.

API Key: This will be genereated by you through your Ontraport Terminal.

Alias: For internal purposes only. This alias will help you organize your profile among others in your CRM.

*NOTE*- Please keep in mind that we only post customer information along with the product that they purchased. Once the information is posted to Ontraport, you will need to build rules that will feed the customers into particular "lists".

Once you have configured your Ontraport profile, you will need to assign it to your campaign(s).
